Matthew 5:10-12
Blessed are those who are persecuted for doing what God approves of.
The kingdom of heaven belongs to them.  “Blessed are you when people insult you,
persecute you, lie, and say all kinds of evil things about you because of me.  Rejoice and be glad because you have a great reward in heaven! The prophets who lived before you were persecuted in these ways.

John 15:20

Deuteronomy 18:9-12
When you come to the land that the Lord your God is giving you, never learn the disgusting practices of those nations.  You must never sacrifice your sons or daughters by burning them alive, practice black magic, be a fortuneteller, witch, or sorcerer,  cast spells, ask ghosts or spirits for help, or consult the dead.  Whoever does these things is disgusting to the Lord. The Lord your God is forcing these nations out of your way because of their disgusting practices.

Leviticus 17:10-14
“If Israelites or foreigners eat any blood, I will condemn them and exclude them from the people,  because blood contains life. I have given this blood to you to make peace with me on the altar. Blood is needed to make peace with me.  That is why I have said to the people of Israel: Neither you nor foreigners should ever eat blood.  “If Israelites or foreigners hunt any animal or bird that may be eaten, they must pour out the animal’s blood and cover it with dirt.  This is because the life of any creature is in its blood. So I have said to the people of Israel: Never eat any blood, because the life of any creature is in its blood. Whoever eats blood must be excluded from the people.

Deuteronomy 12:23
However, be sure you never eat blood, because blood contains life. Never eat the life with the meat.

Acts 15:28-29
The Holy Spirit and we have agreed not to place any additional burdens on you. Do only what is necessary by keeping away from food sacrificed to false gods, from eating bloody meat, from eating the meat of strangled animals, and from sexual sins. If you avoid these things, you will be doing what’s right.

Philippians 4:8
Finally, brothers and sisters, keep your thoughts on whatever is right or deserves praise: things that are true, honorable, fair, pure, acceptable, or commendable.

Proverbs 4:23
Guard your heart more than anything else, because the source of your life flows from it.

Psalm 37:27
Avoid evil, do good, and live forever.
