Now, the effects of the corrupt nature are obvious: illicit sex, perversion, promiscuity, idolatry, drug use, hatred, rivalry, jealousy, angry outbursts, selfish ambition, conflict, factions, envy, drunkenness, wild partying, and similar things. I’ve told you in the past and I’m telling you again that people who do these kinds of things will not inherit God’s kingdom. But the spiritual nature produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There are no laws against things like that.
Finally, brothers and sisters, keep your thoughts on whatever is right or deserves praise: things that are true, honorable, fair, pure, acceptable, or commendable.
After he came back to life, his disciples remembered that he had said this. So they believed the Scripture and this statement that Jesus had made. While Jesus was in Jerusalem at the Passover festival, many people believed in him because they saw the miracles that he performed.
Godless fools say in their hearts, “There is no God.” They are corrupt. They do disgusting things. There is no one who does good things.
